Here we go again
CORS bidding starts today. For the first time in my NUS life, i have to bid for my Sociology modules... and it's gonna a blood bath at that! only a couple of hours into the start of the first bidding round, highest bid points go as high as 3000! and the other two concerned modules are at an incredible zenith of 2220 and 2060. I have only 2000 plus points to bid for all these three modules; doom seems to come a-looming...
i can't believe school is gonna start real soon! so many things coming my way this latter half of the year, what with school and raya and packing and moving house....... the list goes on. oh btw, we have finally gotten a flat! thank god for that... at anchorvale drive... tiny flat it is but it is nearby compasspoint shopping centre and the NEL. and the multi storey car park is enjoined to our block so we just need to walk down our corridors to get to the carpark...no hassle of taking the lift down and whatnots. we will prolly be shifting house only after raya... which i suppose is quite a relief... although i will be extremely busy with deadlines then... and so that is something no to look forward to. bad news aside, my bro will be coming back this november for summer break ... so that's nice... so sorry for him that he could not bid a proper farewell to his bedroom of 15 years or so... new flat: shared bedroom... i am not looking forward to that because my brother is a slob!.. but i reckon that since we survived melbourne together in that tiny lil room, sengkang's gonna be alright la.
so the past week has been really fun. and really draining on the wallet too. after my haircut on friday... plus having to pay for amirul's haircut first... i was really feeling a slight pinch. then i bought a pack of ciggies because lepaking without ciggies is like skipping without a jumping rope. turned out my packet of fags became the "rokok masyarakat" (society's ciggies) for the day... 20 sticks... gone in less than 10 hrs. company was great as always... topic of discussion was on celebrity gossips and scandals. -_-
i have tuition later. always dreading this one. because i think it is not necessary to tutor a primary one kid. furthermore it is dead tiring to teach a primary one kid who has a short attention span of 2.5 seconds. arrggghhhh! dreadful.
right now i feel kinda dull inside. maybe because last week was pretty exhilarating and the week ahead just seems loaded with incessant stressing about modules and school. i wanna go lie down for a bit now.
