just when i thought the cold is finally gonna give, it just gets colder! it had been a lovely super sunny day just now... so i took the girls i'm babysitting out in the backyard for a bit of flower picking, cycling, and a few kicks and throws of footy... i still dunno how they bounce the footy such that the ball gets back to them! anyways... yeah it was a lovely day... wasn't so cold anymore and i thought yay!!!...but i think tomoro is just gonna be colder... expecting showers... and i was really planning to wear berms to skool tomoro... oh well.. maybe i'll just wear them... i did go out at night in those last night and the cold was still bearable...

oh and i got a new scarf which was just irresistable, and so i just had to fork out 18 bucks to get it.. and really am trying hard to forget how much it had cost me ...so out of my budget!... but i got a second hand text book at 20 dollars cheaper so maybe it all balances out well i guess...

i've been at my readings since early this evening and i am still not done.. well of cos considering i'd been doin it in front of the tv...but i dunno just feels weird la.. doing readings.. studying.. assignments.. when it feels like holiday here... cos i'd been doing all that only back home in singapore...and getting on with that kinda routine overseas just feels kinda well...different and surreal...two lects tomoro... skool starts at 12... so its not too early la and i like that about the semester here... i dont start too earlyyyy cos its really difficult to wake up in the mornings when the weather is like always so cold and it just feels lovely to snuggle under the covers... that is rare in singapore but when it is so everyday here... it's not surprising that i try to sleep in as often and as possible as i can......

its midnight now.. and i think i'm just gonna try finish this anthropology reading of mine and go sleep right afterwards... oh yarrrrrr.. i wanna talk about BIG BROTHER.. but maybe tomoro lahhhhhhhh niteeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyy !!!!

hafiz smilesssss finally...

melb uni feels more homely now... and not so dreaded anymore cos i've made a couple of friends! that's a start but yeah, cool OZ dudes! just needs to get to noe one to be introduced to the rest and that's just blardy exciting. so i've gone to all the first tutorials for this semester and it's really nice to have gotten that over and done with... cos first tutorials are always the sucky part... the awkward glares and having to introduce yourselves to everyone in class... but all's well... and i'm loving melbourne even more! hahahaha!

but that does not even come close to meaning that I;ve totally forgotten about singapore cos i do miss everything back home... thus even as i type this blog post out, my ears are stuffed to power 98 live over the internet...it's really nice to hear the familiar singaporean accent and it sorta keeps me rooted...i'm getting used to the OZ (aussie) accent better now... which, trust me, is damn important down here or you'll just be HUH-ing your way around here...

skool aside, i received some really great and exciting news last night... and i just can;t wait for all that to materialise!... can't disclose that here right now but yeah... it's not such a biggie like i'm getting married or something lah.. but i mean it will just add to the wonderful time i'm having over here in melbourne...

oh yeah... and i'm loving FOOTYYYYYYYYYY! i was telling fiza over msn last night and she was puzzled how ppl here seem to always get brainwashed into liking that game... anyway, for the ignorant, footy is short for football... australian football... australian rules... LAAAARVE THE GAAAIIIMMMEEEE! AND hoping to catch the game live at the MCG (mELbourne cricket ground) this saturday with my bro... GO Saints!!!

i am really hungry right now and i think i should get going and go grab a bite before the last lecture for the day... see ya mates!!!

SKOOL

Skool's starting next monday and this past week had been enrolment and orientation week. well, as usual, i didn't actually bother going for all of the orientation programs although i wanted to but errrrr... paisey lah! no frens! and the other new students or rather the fellow exchange students seem to have their own groups already...think i should have contacted my fellow nus exchange students. but well i did get to know this gerl for Holland who goes by the name Lotti... cute arrr.. ahahahah... and julia, this girl from italy who is goddammmmmnnnnnn gorgeous but i reckon she's a few ears older than i am.

but oh well... i am contemplating signing up for the student union then i can gain access to a lot more stuff and dscounts and i cld prolly meet more new people... the thing is that it is really difficult cos as with other unis, frens we make are usually the touch and go kind so its like although i get to noe someone, its kinda hard to keep in contact unless i just shamelessly ask for what, their contact nmbers?? hahah... maybe i'll only do that in tutorials or lectures...

anywayyyyyyyyy, i got a three day week again this semester!!! hahaha... which is swelllllllll... wednesdays and fridays freeeeeeeeeeee... so hopefully i can work soon and take up surfing lessons....... and buy meself a surfboarddd! haha! cant wait for summer.

btw, melb uni is blardy gorgeouss and i wish i could do one whole year of exchange here... but well, i kinda miss home already so prolly a semester will really be sufficient. can't wait for my parents arrival here next month...soemtime next month, dunno when cos they won't tell!! sheesh!
